Relationships v.s Relationships

Relationships has never been easy, to humans.

This is a universal truth. I know I might sound very extreme, but this is very true.

Some people might object my claimed universal true statement. Pals, let me tell you, the 'easy' relationships that you are having now might cause you to take it as granted, which will result in something bad(you won't want me to specify how bad it is, I'll leave the space of imaginations to you).

I have couple of friends who are facing long distance relationships now. Again it is not easy. Sometimes the fragility of a relationship showed when two people are apart. Still, I have friends(which are couples) who see each other almost everyday. But, that doesn't mean there's nothing wrong with their relationships.

Relationships has never been easy. Let's try to be religious. From Old Testament, we can see that Israelis' relationships with Jehovah was really complicated. It's undeniable that God loves humans, but humans are always trying to betray Him and disobey Him. However, His love for humans will never fade. Whenever humans turn to him and ask for forgiveness, He will always forgive us. Our loves in this world, in fact, undeniably originates from God.

Ok some of you might not even believe the existence of such 'God'. OKAY! I'm totally fine with it. You deserve the rights to choose. Let's try to scale down to Parents-Child relationships. I actually think that our Love for parents will never ever be repaid. I'm proudly say that I have great parents, and I appreciate what they have done to make sure my healthy growth. And I know even I die, there's nothing to pay your love. In fact, I don't think you guys will ever read this blog(unless you really find my blog, Joann). I believe someday, we are gonna to 'repay' our parents' deed to our children. Do you see the cycle? This is something I call 'cyclical love'.

Ok again some of you might not even want to give a damn to parental love. OKAY! Fine as well, I'll say, we'll see what happens next in the future when you get old. Let's be even more realistic and talk about MAN-WOMAN relationships. Aha! Do I excite you? But from what I see, what I experience in my life. I think this relationships is all about two things:

1) How deep is your love?
2) How much are you willing to compromise/sacrifice? (But again, this is really very dependent on 1)

I think that insecurity is one very big issue in relationships. Sometimes, insecurity arises from doubts. A is not trusting B, or A starts to feel weird when B is not doing something regularly. Sometimes we really need to think about what is the real cause of the 'suspicious incident' or the sense of insecurity. And also, we have to ask ourselves, "Do I really love him/her? Or it's just that I'm the one who's causing problem. Or even because I'm lonely, that's why I need her?"

Sorry I have too much to say about relationships between men and women. Perhaps I should take another time to really talk about what I want to say after organizing all the mess.

Endure, Compromise, and Love.

Fall For You

I'm gonna share a song with you guys.

I love this song totally. I can still recall that Jon was the one who introduced me Secondhand Serenade and I was really really devoted to his emo-ness that expressed through his guitar.

I'll guess I should just cut my crap and listen to this song.

Since this is a Live version, of course, it is not flawless. But, don't be too picky ya?

Tonight will be the night that I will fall for you. Would you? =)
